Lee Yancey is a proven conservative who gets results for Rankin County. As a current member of the Mississippi House of Representatives and a former member of the Mississippi Senate, he brings unique insight, experience, and relationships in the Legislature to be the most effective voice for Rankin County in the State Senate.

Elected to the State Senate in 2007 representing District 20 across portions of Madison and Rankin Counties, and to the Mississippi House in 2020, Lee currently serves as Chairman of the House Business and Commerce Committee. Outside the Capitol he has worked as an investment advisor representative with Element Wealth since 2008 and served as Pastor of Bay Springs Baptist Church from 2013 to 2018. He has been married to his wife Courtney since 1992; they have two adult children, Benton and Blakeley, and two grandchildren.
